The iPhone 14 was released on September 16 with great celebration, owing to its improved 48-megapixel Pro cameras, which was a surprise to those who observed the camera wobbling while using third-party apps.

Apple fans flocked to retail outlets over the weekend to purchase the new iPhone. They were understandably pleased and joyful until they encountered an unusual problem while using iPhone third-party camera applications such as Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok.

They reported the iPhone 14 Pro rear camera and lens trembling and making weird grinding and buzzing noises while attempting to take a picture or record a video in third-party apps. This resulted in a failure to capture. And it wasn’t just one or two individuals’ experiences, but a group of them. As a result, most new iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max customers complain about this issue on social media channels such as Twitter.

Fortunately, this is not the case with the iPhone’s built-in Camera app. Furthermore, this camera problem is limited to third-party applications and iPhone Pro models, not other new iPhone models such as the 14 or 14 Plus. This suggests that it is a software problem rather than a hardware problem, which is a relief because it is readily fixed.

Apple spokesperson Alex Kirschner confirmed the issue, saying, “We’re aware of the issue, and a fix will be released next week,” implying that a software update will be published to address this specific issue. Users were previously urged not to use cameras on Instagram, Snapchat, or TikTok in order to avoid serious hardware damage.

These third-party applications, according to Technical Reviewers, were not prepared for the new iPhone’s Camera update. Unfortunately, it was the source of the problem in the first place, and with such a widespread spread of this issue, they should be more cautious the next time.
