Hulu Announced Hikes in Price Starting on October 10th

Hulu announced pricing increases for its subscription tiers, which will take effect on October 10. The price of a Hulu subscription will increase from $12.99 to $14.99, while the cost of the entry-level ad-supported plan will rise from $6.99 to $7.99 monthly and $79.99 year. Hulu with Live TV’s cost will also rise to $82.99 at the same time.

The least expensive streaming service is Hulu. Even with the price increase, users may still afford the Hulu Service. All subscribers received emails from Hulu announcing the price increase. They just went up by $2 a month.

Due to a server or network issue, a format incompatibility issue, or both, the media could not be loaded.

The Disney+ and ESPN+ mini-bundle will differ as a result of Hulu’s price hikes. In December, the cost of Disney+ will increase from $7.99 to $10.99 per month. Additionally, ESPN Plus has already upped its monthly membership price to $9.99 as of August 2022.

Similar to Hulu, Netflix announced that its ad-supported service would launch in November. Additionally, Hulu’s pricing increases will bring it closer to competing streaming services like HBO Max and Netflix. But HBO Max is only available for $9.99 per month with ads or $14.99 per month without ads. Each month of Netflix costs $19.99. Users may move to Hulu alternatives due to price increases.
