Spotify Warns Apple Watch Customers Not to Upgrade to WatchOS 9

So, Spotify tells watch owners not to install the version for WatchOS 9. They have noticed that when you open the Spotify app after updating the Apple Watch to WatchOS 9, the playing stops. The problem starts when you play a song on your Apple Watch for a minute.

The same problem affects a lot of people all over the world. This is a problem with Apple Watches that use both WiFi and cellular networks.

Apple said that people should wait for the WatchOS 9.1 update, which has already been sent to test devs. Like with iOS 16.0.1 on the iPhone 14, we can expect Apple to fix the problem with a quick update.

The problem hasn’t changed any of the songs that have been downloaded on the Spotify app. So, users can put their favourite songs on their Apple Watch and download them to listen to when they are not online. Or, they can listen to their favourite songs on their iPhone.
